As I mention in, you can’t create pivot charts in Excel for the Mac. It’s, hands down, my greatest aggravation with Excel. However, Excel for the Mac has an additional bug that renders any pivot chart created on a PC that includes a report filter utterly useless. You can see the options in the drop-down filter and even select them.

Excel for Windows 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Excel for Mac 2011 and 2016. Some concepts are not available in Excel for Windows 2007 and Excel for Mac 2011, like Slicers and some Pivot table calculations, but this is highlighted in the Course Outline. Excel 2008 already had pivot table support (to get started with pivot tables in Excel 2008, check out Create a pivot table report in the Excel help, and there’s a Lynda.com tutorial for it too).

In fact, the pivot table (that’s created with every pivot chart) updates. However, your pivot chart will not update. I demonstrate this disappointing failure in this short demo. Macs are reliable machines that are well designed and hold up to abuse relatively well. Old school games for mac emacs. So they switched the 9–12 high schoolers over to Dells and even though they were cheaper per unit, they ended up spending a LOT more in support, repairs and other things than they had been when they were on the iBooks.
