Most games are starting to boot now, I can really see the emulator officially releasing around the end of the year.

Merrymage working on audio, which in 3 weeks it is starting to be very impressive already. Bunnei may add some New3DS support, or Yuriks, although a temporary soloution allows people to boot New3DS exclusive titles like bindig of issac and Xenoblade.

Merrymage also is reworking on the JIT so it is more optimized and fast. Subv may add better CRO support for games like smash bros to finally work. Tons of progress has been made over the years. The buttons are not exactly hard to map up to a keyboard (or a joystick, whenever Citra supports it). I mean, if you've mapped out anything with 12+ buttons (Gamecube, PS1/PS2 games for example), mapping DS and 3DS is pretty straightforward.

As for touchscreen controls, you just use a mouse and click the screen, generally speaking. Thankfully, most 3DS games aren't big on requiring touch screen control.

At most, they use them as sort of 'software defined' buttons (see Monster Hunter on the 3DS for example, or Tales of the Abyss), but in many cases you never have to touch the touch screen if you don't want to. Yeah, I know what you mean. We've had that 2nd screen for over 10 years now, would feel kinda weird to just abandon it. Even if I rarely use it for games, developers have gotten pretty good at displaying useful information down there. Stuff like having the map on a dedicated screen seems small, but it certainly make a difference for me. Hopefully we'll be able to come up with some interesting solutions for NDS/3DS touch screen emulation. As it stands, there's still room for improvement.

Mapping keys or joystick buttons to specific coordinates (i.e. Mapping 200x, 100y to the Space Bar or something) on a per-game basis would be great as a start. That would help with all of those 'software defined' buttons, and it would finally make games like Metroid Prime: Hunters playable with only a joystick. I also had some ideas about creating a virtual cursor of some sort that could be controlled via joystick axes or the mouse.

Dvd compression software for mac free. With it, you can back up any DVD video disc to your hard drive and burn backup copies to disc in conjunction with a DVD burning software.

It's a very rough idea in my head atm, but if you've ever played games like Knights in the Nightmare or TWEWY on Desmume, you'll quickly see the current state of affairs is so poor. Guess I'm just rambling at this point though:P • • • • •. Yeah, the fire emblem and pokemon games would be awful to play without the second screen at the bottom now. And the touchscreens can't be expensive to produce anymore because of all the extra parts from smartphones and tablets. And honestly, I prefer to play nintendo DS roms on a real nintendo ds/3ds than emulate.
